A Docent-Curated Exhibition Celebrating Women Artists from the

CCMoA Permanent Collection

February 13 - May 4, 2025

In recognition of Women's History Month, CCMoA featured select artworks from the Permanent Collection that were created by women.

The Cape Cod Museum of Art is proud to include 216 women artists in our Permanent Collection. This is significant because women have been historically underrepresented in museum collections throughout the world. We took this opportunity to celebrate the artistic merits of regionally significant women artists in the collection and, based on visitor feedback, to identify female artists who we may want to consider including in the Permanent Collection.

The CCMoA Docents researched and wrote the wall texts to accompany the artworks.
