SUMMER YOUTH ART PROGRAM
Creative 4-day sessions offered each week during July
for ages 6 - 11 and 12 - 16+

Monday, June 29 - Thursday, July 2, from 9:00 am - 11:30 am Inspired by the spirit of Claude Monet and the beauty of the natural world, students will experiment with color, light, and texture while developing their artistic skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Monday, June 29 - Thursday, July 2, from 1:00-3:30 pm Young artists are invited to let their art blossom in this summer studio class at the Cape Cod Museum of Art! Prepare to try new materials and be inspired. During Flower Power, young artists will explore papermaking and printmaking.
Monday, July 6, - Thursday, July 9, from 9:00 am - 11:30 am This playful, hands-on class invites young artists to explore clay through imagination, curiosity, and experimentation. Using handbuilding techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab construction, students will create one-of-a-kind pieces.
Monday, July 6- Thursday, July 9, from 9:00 am - 11:30 am In this exciting four-day creative adventure, students will explore a different country each day and create artwork inspired by its unique culture, traditions, and landscapes.
Monday, July 6, - Thursday, July 9, from 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm This class is designed for teens who want to explore clay as a form of personal expression. Through handbuilding techniques such as slab, coil, and pinch, students will develop both technical skills and their own artistic voice.
Monday, July 6 - Thursday, July 9, from 1:00-3:30 pm In this hands-on class, teens will learn how to develop and illustrate their own original comics and graphic novels using time-tested creative techniques.

Monday, July 20 - Thursday, July 23, from 9:00 am - 11:30 am Get ready for a magical adventure with Lenore Lyons! In this whimsical four-day class, children will create miniature homes for indoor fairies, gnomes or other tiny beings.
Monday, July 20 - Thursday, July 23, from 1:00-3:30 pm In this studio class, young artists will be challenged to envision and execute sculptures and artworks crafted from cardboard.
Monday, July 27 - Thursday, July 30, from 9:00-11:30 am In this immersive studio class, young artists will explore an exciting and unconventional approach to drawing—using tape as their primary medium.
Monday, July 27 - Thursday, July 30, from 1:00-3:30 pm In this immersive summer class, young artists will explore works from the permanent collection, drawing inspiration directly from the masters to inform their own creative practice.
