Art that is informed by the unconscious, the mysterious and the taboo provides a glimpse into an artist’s creative core, revealing insights into one’s hidden self. When reason and logic are kept at bay, a magical inner world is revealed.

 

For Cape Cod Museum of Art’s Annual International Juried Exhibition, artists from across the USA and around the world were invited to submit their original artwork to on the theme Dreamscapes and Inner Worlds.

725 artworks were submitted by 464 artists – A record number of entries for our annual International Exhibition! Only 81 artworks were selected by Juror, Joe Diggs.

Message from the Juror:

The process of jurying this exhibition was challenging. Not only were there a

record numbers of entries, the overall quality was high. After two days of

continuous work, going back through the submissions over and over, I eventually

selected a body of artwork that resonated and activated one another. – Joe Diggs
