1-Day Workshop: Hollow Beads in Silver Metal Clay with Kim Rumberger
Friday, November 18, 2022, from 12:00 – 4:00 pm.
Member $45 / Non-Member $55
Using special forms and metal clay you will learn to build a three-dimensional decorative hollow form that can be used as a charm and worn as jewelry. All tools will be supplied, but if you have your own metal clay tools feel free to bring them. Pieces will be torch-fired and finished during the session.
The cost of clay is not included in the registration fee and is sold by the weight of your finished piece by the instructor. Prior experience working with metal clay is suggested, but beginners are welcome.
Kim Rumberger is an award-winning metal clay artist and instructor from Hyannis. She has been teaching Metal Clay classes since 2014 both on and off the Cape. Her work is recognized internationally and she recently was a presenter at the first ever international Metal Clay conference in Pittsburg, PA, held by the Alliance for Metal Clay Arts Worldwide (AMCAW).
