Juror's Gallery Talk & Reception: Light in a Dark Season
Patricia Feinstein, Juror for this Members Exhibition, will give a Gallery Talk at 4:30 and announce the three Recognition Awards. All exhibiting artists are also welcome to talk about their work. A reception will follow from 5:30 - 7 pm. Free and open to the public.

As we approach the darkest time of the year, promise of a brighter future helps to get us through. This theme, however, can also be understood less literally. As the writer, poet and visual artist, Kahlil Gibran wrote: "If you can see only what light reveals and hear only what sound announces, then in truth you do not see nor do you hear.”
Artists in this show have interpreted light, dark and season in their own way, tailoring the theme to fit their individual beliefs, viewpoints and artistic objectives.
Patricia Feinstein is a teacher, curator and painter who has worked in New York and on Cape Cod. Her paintings have been exhibited at the Cork Gallery and Atlantic Gallery in NYC and at the Provincetown Art Association, the Cape Cod Museum of Art, the Harvest Gallery in Dennis, MA, among other venues
