Cape Cod Open Sculpture Invitational 2026

The Cape Cod Museum of Art (CCMoA) and the New England Sculptors Association (NESA) are pleased to present their third joint INSIDE Juried Sculpture Exhibition. 

This year's CCOSI Inside exhibition had 189 entries, with 24 acceptances.

The Cape Cod Museum of Art has a long-standing commitment to the art of sculpture. In celebration of this legacy, the Museum established the Cape Cod Open Sculpture Invitational, now in its third biennial exhibition. Juried in collaboration with the New England Sculptors Association, the exhibition features both inside and outside works by leading contemporary sculptors from across the region.

Founded in 1981 by sculptors Harry Holl and Roy Freed, the Museum has sculpture at the heart of its identity. Its permanent collection began with a significant gift of works by Swiss-born sculptor Arnold Geissbuhler, who immigrated to the United States in 1933 after studying and working in Paris. He and his wife, American sculptor Elisabeth Chase, made their home in Dennis overlooking Scargo Lake, where they became influential members of Cape Cod’s artistic community.

We invite you to explore the sculpture installations throughout the Museum and grounds - including the Polhemus/Savery DaSilva Gallery - as well as the Yasuna Denny Sculpture Garden and across the 22-acre Cape Cod Center for the Arts campus.

The jurors for this exhibition are Benton Jones, Director of Art at the CCMoA and Samuel Tager, Executive Director of the Provincetown Public Art Foundation.
