In this beginner-friendly course, participants will delve into the fundamental techniques of throwing on the potter's wheel, guided by experienced ceramic artist Rachel Mulcahy.

Rachel Mulcahy is a ceramic artist from Dennis, Massachusetts, with a BFA in Art Education from Syracuse University. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Ceramics at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, where she is developing her craft as an artist and teacher. Rachel's teaching experience spans across diverse demographics, from youth workshops to community classes and university-level ceramic courses. Through her guidance, students of all ages have discovered the joys of working with clay.


Please park in the back of the museum—take the 2nd driveway off of Hope Lane. You will enter the building through the pottery studio in the back.
