Clay Night with Jeanmarie O'Clair

Friday, October 8, 6:30pm - 8:30pm

$35 per person (includes materials and firing)

Have fun and learn techniques in hand building with clay. Everyone will be hand building the same project - a beautiful and functional "Wall Pocket"  with step by step instruction from Jeanmarie O'Clair. We will let you know at the class when the piece will be fired and ready for pick-up. You are welcome to bring beverages and individually wrapped snacks.

COVID policy:

All students must be vaccinated for COVID and wear masks. Please bring your vaccination card to your first class.

About the Instructor Jeanmarie O’Clair is the owner of Bass River Pottery and has been creating pottery for over 30 years. Her work can be seen publicly in locations such as Falmouth Hospital, Cape Cod Hospital, Flax Pond and cultural center of cape cod. Jeanmarie's pottery can be found in art museums and local art centers Jeanmarie is an experienced art teacher who has taught at schools on Cape Cod and in New York, as well as at many other studios. Besides giant ceramic mosaics her signature style, sgraffito pottery, is included in The Encyclopedia of Pottery Techniques, for ceramic artists.
