About
Saturday, November 8, and Sunday, November 9, 10:00 - 3:00 pm.
An art series is a collection of multiple works that are interrelated by technique, subject, and/or palette, for example. You will use the two days to workshop two or three different series ideas based on prompts from the instructor. You will find the common threads in your varied interests as an artist and apply them to creating a cohesive body of work(s).
Each morning, we will have a handout, a discussion, and work from a model beginning with charcoal to loosen up the hand. Then we move to your selected materials while the model poses. Frequent feedback from your colleagues in class will support your process. The aim is to leave with refreshing clarity about what really interests you as an artist and how to make it your own.
We have scholarships! The Cape Cod Museum of Art is committed to making Art accessible to everyone in the Cape Cod Community. The Museum School Scholarship Fund provides tuition assistance to qualified, year-round Cape Cod residents ages 6 and up. Click here to apply.
