May After School Art for Kids with Jennifer Stratton (ages 6-10)

Wednesdays, May 7 - May 28, from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm.  Member $90 / Non-Member  $120

Each week, students experiment with various art supplies, allowing them to express their creativity and enjoy themselves. The activities include painting, collage, printing, clay work, 3D projects, crafting, and more. All materials provided. Additionally, students tour the current exhibitions alongside Jennifer for further inspire the young artist within! Students should bring a snack and drink to class.

Jennifer Stratton is a visual artist, musician, and expressive/creative arts facilitator. She lives in Hyannis with her husband. Jennifer’s experience with the healing powers of expressive art developed into a strong desire to help others tune in to their own creative gifts. In 2009 she received her Certificate of Graduate Studies Program for the Professional Application of Expressive Arts for Healing, also at Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I.

She works with organizations, groups, and individuals using expressive arts as a way for people to deepen their own self-discovery process, as a tool to deal with specific issues, and also to just have fun, learn about art, and build community. Most recently she held the position of Art Director for the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod in Mashpee. She is also a certified CTI trained Life Coach.
