Martha R. A. Fields grew up in Okinawa and is a former Vice-president of a Harvard Medical School Affiliated Hospital in Boston. She will give a highly interactive and energetic talk about her eighth book, The Okinawa in ME: Finally Finding MY IKIGAI (Reason for Being!) This book explores the “Blue Zones.” They are the five places where people live the longest and are the healthiest in the world. It especially focuses on Okinawa, Japan, the #1 place where people live the longest and are the healthiest in the world. There are more healthy people there 110+ years than anywhere in the world.
In her blockbuster book, which is backed up by medical and scientific facts and research, she reveals what are the Eight Healthy Longevity Principles practiced in all of the “Blue Zones.” Her talk will make this complicated information uncomplicated and help people understand how they can adapt these amazing aging secrets to their lives despite what she calls the 3C’s: CHANGE, CHAOS, & CHALLENGES.
