Intermediate

Familiar with throwing, but still feel like you need a little more practice? Want to make pieces that you’re proud of, but still need to refine your centering technique? This class is designed for beginners and intermediates who still need a helping hand but are ready and excited to set and achieve their clay goals. Students will come to class with a form in mind and will spend the next four weeks learning throwing fundamentals with a practical application.

Coco Raymond is a local Cape Codder and lifelong ceramicist who combines traditional iconography and folk art with modern techniques. When not teaching, Coco enjoys creating functional hand-painted pottery and delving into art history.

Please park in the back of the museum - take the 2nd driveway off of Hope Street. You will enter the building through the pottery studio in the back.
