Americana singer-songwriter Monica Rizzio has a keen ability to connect; her songs are often autobiographical yet delivered through a fictional approach that creates a universal experience. Monica was nominated for a 2022 Boston Music Award, winner of the Grassy Hill CT Songwriting Competition, and can be found alongside Tom Rush as his fiddle player and backup singer. Aside from writing and performing she has a deep passion as an educator. She opened up WASHASHORE MUSIC in 2021, a private music instructional studio for all ages specializing in songwriting, piano, fiddle, ukulele, voice, guitar, and artist development. Learn more here.
