Slow Art Day Basics
Show up on Saturday, April 5, at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, pay the admission fee, and then look slowly - 5-10 minutes - at each piece of pre-assigned art in the She Said exhibit.
CCMoA Docents will be discussing the slow artworks with guests at 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, and 2:00 pm. What all Slow Art Day events share is a focus on slow looking and its transformative power.

A Docent-Curated Exhibition Celebrating Woman Artists from the CCMoA Permanent Collection
In recognition of Women's History Month, CCMoA is featuring select artworks from the Permanent Collection created by women. Women have been historically underrepresented in museum collections throughout the world. We are taking this opportunity to celebrate the artistic merits of regionally significant women artists while identifying female artists who may have been overlooked in the Permanent Collection. The CCMoA Docents have researched and written wall texts to accompany the artworks. On view February 13 - May 4, 2025.
