The Cape Cod Jazz Quartet (CCJQ) is comprised of four of Cape Cod’s top Jazz Musicians with Steve Ahern on trumpet & flute from Cape Cod & Florida, Fred Boyle on piano from South Yarmouth, Ron Ormsby on bass from Centerville, and Bart Weisman on drums from Orleans. The CCJQ has appeared at concerts and private events across Cape Cod, accompanied vocalists Dane Vannatter, Siobhan Magnus (from American Idol), Cassandre McKinley, Leslie Boyle, and recorded two CDs including one with Dane Vannatter.

BART WEISMAN performs with his Jazz Group, Klezmer Swing Group, Smooth Jazz Group, and the Cape Cod Jazz Quintet on Cape Cod, Massachusetts at Events, Parties, Weddings, Concerts, and Restaurants.

Bart is the Jazz Ensemble Director at Sturgis Charter Public School East and at the Cape Symphony he teaches drums and is the director & instructor for the CJazz Program and directs & performs for the Jazz in the Schools program. Bart has worked with a number of musicians on Cape Cod including: J. Geils, Molly Ringwald, Ken Peplowski, Shawnn Monteiro, Billy Stritch, Rebecca Parris, Eddie Higgins, Lou Colombo, Dick Johnson, and many more.Bart is the Founder, Executive Producer & Performer for the Provincetown Jazz Festival. Bart hosts Jazz Jam Cape Cod and he performs with his Jazz Group at the Grand Cru in Hyannis featuring Guest Jazz Musicians.Bart relocated with his wife to Cape Cod from Washington, D.C. and was with The United States Air Force Band. Bart has a B.S. degree in Technology & Management from the University of Maryland and an A.A. degree in Music from Montgomery College in Maryland.
