Week One: Portraits and light: 15 – 20 minutes of teaching, then 30 minutes working independently or in small groups.  I roam around and interact on the fly.  Return to share results and get pointers.

Week Two Developing your personal bucket list: 15 minutes of  teaching, then 30 minutes working independently or in small groups.  Return to share results and get pointers.

Week three: 15 minutes of  teaching, then 30 minutes working independently or in small groups.  Return to share results and get pointers.  Field trip, weather permitting.

Week four:  15 minutes of  teaching, then 30 minutes working independently or in small groups.  Return to share results and get pointers. Field trip, weather permitting.

Week five: Graphics: introduction to Photoshop, PowerPoint, and some of the graphic apps.

Week Six:  Teacher & self-critique, assembling a portfolio for exhibit.  Group discussion, 1-1 conferences, group slideshow.

Instructor bio: Lawrence Brown taught for 42 years as a classroom teacher, (34 years of Cape Cod Academy) teaching Photography seminars with young people, also photographed concerts, recitals and school life. 40 years publishing mostly maritime photography in magazines and books.

The Cape Cod Art Center follows the Covid-19 Guidelines and Directives of the state of Massachusetts. CCAC requires masks in the classroom.
