Hear stories from author John Whelan and photographer Kim Roderiques of their experiences with the people who give the Cape its character for their book I Am of Cape Cod. Artist Mary Moquin and Clean Green entrepreneur Jitka Borowick will also be here to tell their stories.

About
The 139 individuals include fishermen, artists, politicians, scientists, farmers, entrepreneurs, environmental activists, writers, and others. Provincetown artist Anne Packard is on the cover of the book.
The authors will be available to autograph books after the event.
Both Whelan and Roderiques are long-time residents of Chatham. Whelan is a graduate of Babson College and worked as a stockbroker in Hyannis. Retired now, he hosts an oldies rock n’ roll radio program on WOMR-FM. John has previously published two books for children: The Little Sockpirate and Miss Egret Regrets. He is also a columnist for the Cape Cod Chronicle.
Roderiques is the author of Dogs on Cape Cod, featuring an extensive collection of dogs and scenic views from Provincetown to Sandwich. Kim also co-authored the children’s book Max and Charlie Help a Hero based on a true story about a boy on Nantucket, which received a New England Book Festival award. Her photographs can be seen at Gallery Antonia in Chatham, Massachusetts.
