This interactive 6-week online course is designed for photographers who want to learn how to use Lightroom Classic CC. This course will introduce you to the key concepts in Lightroom such as creating catalogs, managing folders, organizing your images into collections and collection sets and how to develop images to look their best. If you’re new to Lightroom, have trouble finding your photos on your computer or want to know how to make your photos look great and ready for printing or sharing on social media, then this class is for you. Each class will demonstrate different aspects of Lightroom. We’ll walk-through the how’s and why’s of using the Library, Develop and Print modules as well as the importance of organizing your images inside a catalog. We’ll also learn a proven and effective workflow for all your images that every photographer should know.

You will learn how to: • Create a consistent workflow that works for you. • Import and organize your photos. • Create collections and collection sets. • File organization and management on your computer. • RAW image processing to develop and enhance your images. • Publish your photos for printing or use on social media. • And much, much more…

PLEASE NOTE: Adobe is releasing an update for Lightroom Classic CC at the end of October. This update will include an all new Masking Panel that allows more precise editing of your photos. We’ll review this new feature and show you how to incorporate it when developing your images. All class sessions will be conducted on the ZOOM video conferencing platform. Each session will be recorded so you can download it afterwards and watch the class again. This makes learning online even better than face-to-face classes! Also, depending on the particular lesson, you will be sent a link to upload your own photos and we’ll work on them together during the class.

Instructor’s Bio Bob retired from a 40-year professional career in Environmental Health and Safety in 2018 and moved to Plymouth. Bob’s teaching experience comes form being an adjunct faculty member at Vanderbilt University and conducting hundred’s of training sessions during his professional career. He started Wheaton Images LLC in 2018 to provide commercial photography services and produce fine art for sale at art shows locally. Bob started making images when the first Nikon professional cameras were introduced in 2007. He has also been using Adobe Photoshop for over 25 years (since version 3) and Adobe Lightroom since release in 2007. Bob Initially began using Photoshop to create graphics for health and safety training software development and has used each successive version for creating digital art. Bob has won numerous awards for his photography. Bob is a member on the photo committee and a photography instructor at the Plymouth Center for the Arts. He has also been accepted as a juried artist member at Cape Cod Art Center.
