This course is designed for those who are new to wheel work or have a little experience at the wheel but need a little more instruction. You will have fun while gaining confidence on the potter’s wheel. Learn or fine-tune the throwing fundamentals and the skills necessary to throw cylinders, bowls, mugs, and plates. Glazing will also be demonstrated. Small class size ensures that each student receives personalized, one-on-one instruction and encouragement for a fascinating hands-on experience that will bring out the potter in you. Materials and firings included in cost. Open studio for enrolled students is held on Fridays from 10:00 -12:30 pm.
