Patricia Barnes, an award-winning oil painter, studied watercolor, drawing, and oil painting at Marymount College, Tarrytown, NY, graduating with a BFA in Art History. Barnes earned her Master's Degree at the University of Wisconsin. Her work has sold nationally and internationally. Barnes specializes in oils that capture the heart of Cape Cod expressed through light and color— often with a touch of whimsy. Her work is available at The Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis, MA, and Eastwind Gallery in Orleans, MA. She is a juried member of the American Impressionist Society, Inc., Oil Painters of America, and the Cape Cod Art Center. Barnes lives in Dennis, MA.
