About
Claire Leyden is a New York-based singer and actress, with an extensive background in operatic, oratorio, and musical theater repertoire. She is the 2016 recipient of the prestigious Hubbard Hutchinson Memorial Fellowship in Music, and in 2018 was awarded an Emerging Talent Award in the annual Lotte Lenya Competition, sponsored by the Kurt Weill Foundation for Music. In addition to her various roles as a member of the College Light Opera Company’s 2016 Vocal Company, she has performed as a concert soloist with the Berkshire Symphony, Longwood Symphony, Narnia Festival Orchestra, and Garden State Philharmonic.
Dennis Wees won 2nd Prize in the in the 2016 International Lotte Lenya Competition, put on by the Kurt Weill Foundation for Music. He received his Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. His performing credits include Danilo in The Merry Widow(CLOC, Cape Cod), J. W. Wells in The Sorcerer (CLOC), Col. Ricci in Passion (Utopia Opera, NYC), Matt in The Fantasticks(Theatre3, Dallas), Nanki-Poo in The Hot Mikado (Theatre3), Fyedka in Fiddler on the Roof (Casa Mañana and Lyric Stage, Dallas/Fort Worth), among others.
