The Kingfish band was formed many years ago by local songwriter and musician, Steve Morgan. Originally an award-winning blues band, the group was forced to make major changes following the passing of lead vocalist, Bryant Edwards in 2019, and then Steve in 2022. The Kingfish added Hope Finch on lead vocals, and Alex ‘BZ’ MacLellen on guitar. The remaining members, Ed Wannamaker on drums, Peter Mann on keyboard and Roe Osborn on bass are from the original band, with all members sharing in vocal duties. The new look of the Kingfish band blends a mixture of timeless and contemporary R&B songs with many of the original compositions that the band has always been known for.
