Tai Chi for Health at Cape Cod Museum of Art - Tuesdays from July 24 - August 28
9:00 am - 10:00 am Tai Chi instructor Holly Heaslip will lead a 5-week class in Tai Chi, the ancient Chinese practice that is fun, easy to learn and provides the proven health benefits of increased strength, flexibility and balance.

About
The class will include the six basic forms which will be the basis for a home practice. The entire practice may be done standing as well as seated. Tai Chi movements are slow and gentle but very powerful when practiced over time.
Students should wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. Very thin, flexible soled shoes are best or socks with non-slip bottoms should be worn. If you have any concerns, please check with your Doctor before participating.
Holly Heaslip currently holds four certifications in teaching Tai Chi. “Tai Chi for Healthy Aging” from Brookline Tai Chi in Boston which was implemented through the Tufts Health Plan Foundation ,“Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance”, from the Oregon Research Institute, Tai Chi for Arthritis and Tai Chi for Arthritis Fall Prevention from the Tai Chi for Health Institute Dr. Paul Lam. She has been teaching in facilities throughout the Cape for several years.
