Love can have many characteristics, different facets, shapes, and colors. The songs chosen for this concert will attempt to portray love and its diversity.

Dennis Flaherty - A lifetime lover of Cape Cod summers, Dennis retired from his teaching career (Elementary Physical Education, Town of Medway) in 2011, and since 2013, is a year round Cape Cod resident. For the past five years, Dennis has been, and continues to be the lead singer with the Cape Conservatory Jazz Band, an eighteen piece big band led by Tyler Newcomb. Dennis specializes in songs made popular by such artists as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Bobby Darin, and more. Dennis can also be heard on occasion singing with the Bart Weisman Jazz Band, and Stage Door Canteen.

Edward "Eddie" Scheer - MIT graduate (two degrees - Engineering and Music), retired from his day job at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, Eddie continues, as he has for many years, to play piano in local establishments in the Falmouth and Bourne area: The Chart Room, Bucatino, The Quarterdeck, and Jack's, and years ago, The Nimrod. One of Eddie's specialties is to blend different songs into clever medleys.

Ron Ormsby -- Ron is a jazz bassist originally from Boston, where he studied at Berklee College of Music. In addition to performing at many of the local Boston jazz clubs, he was a founding member of the Boston Jazz Quartet. This group played extensively throughout the New England area and made two tours through Europe. From 1979 to 1984, he owned and operated The Columns Restaurant, a well-known jazz club on Cape Cod. For twenty years Ron was the bassist and personal manager for stride and Dixieland pianist Marie Marcus. Ron performed with Marie in jazz clubs from Cape Cod to Miami as well as an appearance at the Newport/New York Jazz Festival. He has also appeared in concert with jazz greats such as Chuck Wayne, Warren Vache, Joe Muranyi, Dick Johnson, Billy Stritch, Howard Alden, Ken Peplowski and many others. Ron currently performs in the greater New England area and one month a year in São Paulo, Brazil. In addition, from 1986 to 2015 he owned and operated REO Studios, a 24-track professional recording studio on Cape Cod.

Bart Weisman is the Executive Producer & Performer for the Provincetown Jazz Festival and performs with his jazz group, klezmer swing group, smooth jazz group, and the Cape Cod Jazz Quintet across Cape Cod.
