Walls that Connect: The Cape Cod Mural Project celebrates the work of five professional mural artists and introduces their work to the Cape Cod Museum of Art’s members and visitors.

This multi-faceted exhibition includes both an indoor an outdoor component. Three murals commissioned by the Cape Cod Museum of Art are to be mounted

along the museum’s front exterior. These muralists are: Joe Wardwell (Boston based), Jackie Reeves  (Cape Cod based) and Esteban del Valle (Brooklyn based).

The accompanying indoor gallery exhibition celebrate the studio practices of all five participating participating artists. Two of the artists - Felipe Ortiz (originally from Columbia - Boston based) and Sophy Tuttle (Boston based) will be creating new, site specific installations in the CCMoA galleryallowing museum visitors to observe the creative process.

Curated by Samuel Tager of Provincetown,  Walls that Connect: The Cape Cod Mural Project acknowledges the origins of street art and the positive impact that public art and mural projects have had on their host communities while celebrating and highlighting the artistry and accomplishments of a new generation of artists working in public art.
