NEW! After School Art for Kids Ages 11-15 with Jennifer Stratton

Limited to 12 students

Students ages 11-15, join the fun at the Cape Cod Museum of Art on Tuesdays after school. Each week we will experience a new medium of art and create our own unique, imaginative projects. We will explore drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, clay, and more. This will be a place for learning new skills, creating, as well as making new friends. A tour of the museum is also included in the program.

• All students must be checked in and out by an accompanying adult
• An emergency contact form is required – send to education@ccmoa.org prior to class or bring with you the first day
• Masks are required
• Instructor is fully vaccinated and will be masked
• All students age 12 and older are required to show proof of vaccination upon arrival at their first class, with the exception of those with a medical condition.

Instructor bio:

Jennifer Stratton is a visual artist, musician, and expressive/creative arts facilitator. She lives in Hyannis with her husband.

Jennifer’s experience with the healing powers of expressive art developed into a strong desire to help others tune in to their own creative gifts. In 2009 she received her Certificate of Graduate Studies Program for the Professional Application of Expressive Arts for Healing, also at Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I.

She works with organizations, groups, and individuals using expressive arts as a way for people to deepen their own self-discovery process, as a tool to deal with specific issues, and also to just have fun, learn about art and build community. Most recently she held the position of Art Director for the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod in Mashpee. She is also a certified CTI trained Life Coach.
