Back by popular demand! Kids ages 6-11 will have fun joining instructor Jenn Reed for this hand-building clay class. Young artists will learn how to make their own masterpieces with coil, slab, and pinching techniques. In this class, students will hand-build 3D creations of their own vision. Some possibilities will be bowls, boxes with lids, vessels, and sculptural creatures or structures. Once students learn some basic clay rules and how to build, the possibilities are endless. Experimentation with ideas, texture, tools, and form is encouraged. A class or two will allow for some wheel-throwing opportunities and fun. Materials and firing…
