ARTtalk: Docent's Choice - The Story Behind the Canvas
Admission by Donation! Several Cape Cod Museum of Art docents will tell the stories behind the works of art and artists that they chose to highlight in a new exhibition, “Docent's Choice” during ARTfull Thursday, February 7.

About
CCMoA docents have chosen their favorite works that range from the historical to contemporary and from the representational to the abstract out of more than 2000 works in the Museum’s collection.
The docents include: Gail Burke, Maureen Callahan, Barbara Cole, Ellie Freedman, Judy McElroy, Corinne Martinage and Christina Petruska.
The docents are volunteer educators, artists and art appreciators who share a passion for art and for the Museum. They study the history of the Cape’s art and visit contemporary artist’s studios to learn more and convey their love of art to visitors.
The exhibition, which presents 28 works of art chosen by 20 docents is on view from February 1 through April 7, 2019
