Beginner/Intermediate

Want to up your creative game? This beginner/intermediate level course offers an introduction to various forms of surface decoration for ceramics: underglaze painting, sgraffito, wax resist, and texture work. Students will be provided with slabs to work on, but bringing in your own work is also encouraged.

Coco Raymond is a local Cape Codder and lifelong ceramicist who combines traditional iconography and folk art with modern techniques. When not teaching, Coco enjoys creating functional hand-painted pottery and delving into art history.

Please park in the back of the museum - take the 2nd driveway off of Hope Street. You will enter the building through the pottery studio in the back.
