Creative Upcycled Painter's Smocks! 1-Day Workshop with Patty Barnes

Saturday, June 8, from 11:00 – 1:00 pm.

Let’s have fun!  Folks always ask Artist Patty Barns about her unique and creative style. Join her for a one-day paint-your-own unique painting smock. Patty will shop thrift stores and bring a number of oversized shirts, similar to ones she creates for herself, and all the paint and brushes. Students are welcome to bring their own shirts to paint. 

Patricia Barnes, an award-winning oil painter, studied watercolor, drawing, and oil painting at Marymount College, Tarrytown, NY, graduating with a BFA in Art History. Barnes earned her Master's Degree at the University of Wisconsin. Her work has sold nationally and internationally. Barnes specializes in oils that capture the heart of Cape Cod expressed through light and color— often with a touch of whimsy.

Barnes’ work is available at The Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis, MA, and Eastwind Gallery in Orleans, MA. She is a juried member of the American Impressionist Society, Inc., Oil Painters of America, and the Cape Cod Art Center. Barnes lives in Dennis, MA.
