The Museum School at the Cape Cod Museum of Art presents:

6-Week Course Fundamentals of Wheel Throwing with Instructor Nat Doane

Fridays, March 31 – May 5, 2023, from 10:00 – 12:30 pm

Member $225 / Non-Member $250; includes $25.00 materials fee.

Through demonstrations and individual assistance, Nat will help each student develop skills using the potter’s wheel to create functional forms such as cups, bowls, and vases. These classes are appropriate for absolute beginners as well as those with some experience. Materials and firings included in cost.

Nat Doane is a local Cape Codder from Harwich Port. Doane graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a Bachelor of Fine Arts focusing on Ceramics/Artisanry. He has worked with Joe McCaffery of Narrow Land Pottery, Steve Kemp of Kemp Pottery, as well as Marion Eckhardt of Brewster Pottery.

Please park in the back of the museum - take the 2nd driveway off of Hope Lane. You will enter the building through the pottery studio in the back.
