Bring in Spring! Art for Kids’ Spring Break with Jennifer Stratton (Ages 6+)

April 18 - April 21, 2023, 9:30-noon

When we think of spring, we think of nature unfolding its wonderful creations! Using spring and nature as a backdrop, instructor Jennifer Stratton will encourage students to be creative while developing their art skills. In this four-day class, students will create wonderful pieces of art through drawing, painting, collage, 3D art, and more. Weather permitting, the class will spend time some time outdoors in the Cape Cod Museum of Art Yasuna Denny Sculpture Garden. 

• This class is best suited for students ages six and older
• All students must be checked in and out by an accompanying adult

Jennifer Stratton is a visual artist, musician, and expressive/creative arts facilitator. She lives in Hyannis with her husband. Jennifer’s experience with the healing powers of expressive art developed into a strong desire to help others tune in to their own creative gifts. In 2009 she received her Certificate of Graduate Studies Program for the Professional Application of Expressive Arts for Healing, also at Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I.

She works with organizations, groups, and individuals using expressive arts as a way for people to deepen their own self-discovery process, as a tool to deal with specific issues, and also to just have fun, learn about art and build community. Most recently she held the position of Art Director for the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod in Mashpee. She is also a certified CTI trained Life Coach.
