Location, location, location! This summer, seize the chance to dive into the breathtaking beauty of Cape Cod. We invite you to join renowned artist Ed Chesnovitch for an exciting two-day intensive workshop. On day one, Ed will take you to a "special location" to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere that is Cape Cod! This class is designed for artists who are eager to enhance their skills and creativity in a focused environment.
Tailored specifically for oil and acrylic painting techniques, participants will have the chance to create one large artwork that reflects their personal style and artistic vision. Under Ed's guidance, you will explore various methods and approaches to painting, allowing you to push the boundaries of your creativity. The workshop will emphasize the importance of composition, color theory, and brushwork, providing you with the tools necessary to elevate your artwork to new heights.
June 17: We will go to a "special location," absorb the beauty, sketch, record, and gather info to inspire a large-format painting. Followed by indoor studio work at the Cape Cod Museum of Art. Class location to be shared prior to first class.
June 24: Studio work at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, with critique and guidance to bring your piece to a successful conclusion!
This intensive workshop is best suited for intermediate and advanced students.
