Celebrate Slow Art Day with a mindful museum experience designed to help you slow down and truly see.
Docents from the Cape Cod Museum of Art will guide participants in the Hope-McClennen Gallery during the hours of 11:00 - 2:00 pm through a close-looking experience featuring selected works from Visual Voice: Freedom to Create., including:

Slow Art Day Basics
Spend time observing each selected work. Museum Docents will facilitate discussions in front of each artwork to share insights and perspectives. No prior art experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to pause.
