Julie Charland is an award-winning songwriter with themes of social justice, environmental action, spirituality, love, and loss. This mother of three is a multi-instrumentalist playing guitar, ukulele, mandola, banjo, flute, and the Irish drum, the bodhran. Julie spent four years in Nashville honing her writing skills and working as a demo singer at Oh Boy records, on music row, recording songs for John Prine that had yet to be pitched for various female artists. She also performed as a backup singer for David Bromberg and Arlo Guthrie.

Having moved back home to the North, she is a full-time musician on the road Monday through Friday providing music programs for the senior community. With four albums of largely original material under her belt and another album of original works underway and two music videos on YouTube, it is clear that her path is and always will be the pursuit of music. For her writing, recording, and performing is as important as breath.

Denya LeVine, fiddler, ukulele player, and singer, has been entertaining audiences on Cape Cod and around Massachusetts for 45 years. She studied classical violin with Sheldon Rotenberg of The Boston Symphony and in her 30’s studied Irish fiddle with 10-time All Ireland Fiddle champion Seamus Connolly. With roots in classical, folk, and Jewish music, she fell deeply in love with Irish culture and fiddle music, spending months in the village of Doolin, County Clare, a mecca of traditional Irish music. She grew up in Sharon, MA, worked at The Fillmore East [rock music theater] in New York City, and lived in Afghanistan, India, Belgium, England, and Ireland. She has been a sound designer for plays on Cape Cod, an on-stage musician for Cape plays, and a performer in the national touring company of the musical Quilters. Past work also includes being a pre-show musician for both the Boston Pops and Cape Cod Symphony and performances at The Cape Cod Museum of Art with bands O’Challah and Longing For Ireland. www.denya.us
