Transformed by COLOR: The Paintings of Louise Lane

Spring in Marsh, 2013 acrylic on canvas 24” x 36”

Exhibition from June 6 – July 21, 2019 Reception June 7

As far back as I can remember, I have loved color and painting. I used crayons, watercolors, and pastel chalks liberally. In my present work I try to capture and be inspired by the forms and rhythms of nature in this beautiful light that surrounds us here on Cape Cod. I hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I have creating them. I was one of the founding members of the “Falmouth Artists Guild” and presently share studio space at the ‘Olde Elementary School’ next to the Unitarian Church in Barnstable Village.
