Dear Guild Members,
Through its fundraising and programming, The Guild of the Cape Cod Museum of Art has advanced the mission of the museum and been an opportunity for volunteerism to flourish. Now our mission has changed.
After a comprehensive study of programs and activities was done by the museum's Board of Directors in conjunction with a group of stakeholders formed from committee chairs and leaders, it was evident that change needed to occur.
In order to align resources with budget projections, the museum has committed to maximizing all efforts for the best return possible. A calendar of events was created which meshes its mission and its resources.
The need for a separate programming arm and attendant expenses and bookkeeping no longer exists. The Development Committee of the Board of Directors will oversee all programming and fundraising.
Therefore, The Guild of CCMoA is no longer operating as of January 1, 2021. To have the full benefit of your Guild dues, the remainder of any annual 2020 Guild dues collected prior to January 1st will be credited towards your next annual museum membership. During these unprecedented times of financial strain, you can make a difference by donating that remainder by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
You made a difference, and your support and energy are greatly appreciated. I speak for the Executive Board of The Guild when I say what a pleasure and honor it has been for all of us to have journeyed with you.
