Join artist, nature writer, and naturalist Mary Richmond for a fun week of making our own nature journals. We will create our own nature journals from recycled and collected materials and then fill them with writing and/or drawing to note what we’ve been seeing, hearing, smelling, and feeling outside. In case of a rainy week, we will also work with numerous natural found objects. Only hard rain will keep us indoors, however, so please plan to dress accordingly. We will also spend some time in the Cape Cod Museum of Art Yasuna Denny Sculpture Garden.

Mary Richmond grew up in Hyannis where she still lives. She is a lifelong nature lover and amateur naturalist with a BFA in Painting and two weekly nature columns in local papers for the past 20 years. She has a love of books, stories, animals, birds, and children and as an educator loves to mix them all up and see what happens.
