Take it Away with Monet: Masters'-Inspired Art For Kids with Jennifer Stratton

Youth Ages 6-12. Get inspired by well-known masters like Monet and learn about Artists you may not know. Using a variety of mediums students will engage in different art projects including painting, drawing and collage. Students will come away with beautiful works of art and new a understanding of historically significant Artists.

Instructor Bio:

Jennifer Stratton is a visual artist, musician, and expressive/creative arts facilitator. She lives in Hyannis with her husband.

Jennifer’s experience with the healing powers of expressive art developed into a strong desire to help others tune in to their own creative gifts. In 2009 she received her Certificate of Graduate Studies Program for the Professional Application of Expressive Arts for Healing, also at Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I.

Since then she has been working with organizations, groups and individuals using expressive arts as a way for people to deepen their own self discovery process, as a tool to deal with specific issues, and also to just have fun, learn about art and build community.

Currently she is the Art Director for the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod in Mashpee. She is also a certified CTI trained Life Coach.
