You walk into a museum. What do you see? What artworks interest you? What materials were used? Does the art look different as you look at it from different angles or distances? This class will use the museum itself as our inspiration and make artwork that is in conversation with the artwork present at the Cape Cod Museum of Art. We will discuss the role museums play in the development of young artists. We will talk about proper museum etiquette. There will be lots of art materials to work with and an emphasis on exploration. Get ready to enter the wonderful world of art museums!
