Don’t be imitated by size.  Jump in and have some fun. Focus on one painting and be fearless! In this class for oil and acrylics, we will work on one large piece from start to finish. This is not a beginner’s class and is not formatted for watercolors.

• Week 1, we will go to a nearby location, absorb the beauty, sketch, record, and gather info to inspire a large format painting. Followed by indoor studio work.

• Week 2 in the studio, we will focus on how to start a painting with various underpaintings, toned grounds and notans. Understand the important shapes and design of your image and how to establish good bones of your painting.
