Ed Chesnovitch Demo: A painting's start, the most important part!
Ed will talk about and demonstrate various ways that he starts his paintings.
He believes that the paintings start is the most important part of the painting process, and multiple starting solutions; from a bold 2 color Notan, a twist on a classic Grisaille or a strong color plane block-in always keeps him fresh, on his toes and gives him a solid direction of where the painting is going.
