Explore the art of visual storytelling with any kind of camera - even your phone - and learn how to compose better photographs using design elements and guidelines such as the Rule of Thirds; leveraging shapes, playing with negative and positive space, utilizing lines, capturing symmetry and patterns, focusing on points of interest, embracing color, understanding distance, and achieving balance. Join in and enhance your creative vision.
Heather Pillar, photographer and teacher, has lived, taught and photographed in seven countries over four continents during the past 25 years. Her personal and collaborative photographic projects reveal her ongoing interest in women, girls' education, and aging.
