If we build it, they will come.
Harry Holl, our Museum’s founder, could have spoken those words 40 years ago. With remarkable foresight and optimism, Harry Holl signed the Articles of Organization for a museum that lacked a building, location, or permanent collection on January 28, 2021.
Over these last 40 years, we have seen the Cape Cod Museum of Art become a valued cultural institution that continues to adapt to the needs of our community. From engaging exhibitions that celebrate and promote our regional artists, to our permanent collection that preserves, protects and provides perspective to the rich cultural heritage of this region, to our Museum School that helps to nurture the artistic flame in all of us, the Cape Cod Museum of Art today is thriving! We owe this success to you. Your interest and involvement are what make us relevant.
In this 40th year, we will provide many opportunities for you to tip your hat to those who brought us to this place, while also charting the course for a colorful and prosperous future. We are on this VOYAGE together! Moving forward, but guided from whence we came. We raise our glass to the many captains and crew that have kept us on course, with the same optimism of our founder, guiding us forward.
