The Art of Aiden Lassell Ripley
The Art of Aiden Lassell Ripley is a coffee table book written to accompany the Aiden Lassell Ripley (1896 – 1969): A Retrospective exhibition (August 2 - October 5, 2008). This gorgeous book with an introduction written by Elizabeth Ives Hunter, former CCMoA Executive Director, is filled with color photographs of the Ripley's paintings that were in the exhibition.  There are sections not only on his landscapes and sporting art, but his portraits, interiors and murals. Written by Stephen B. O'Brien and Julie Carlson Wildlfeuer, introduction by Elizabeth Ives Hunter, published by Stephen O'Brien Jr., Fine Arts, LLC.




Art in its Soul: History of the Provincetown Art Colony
28 minutes long
This DVD was a joint venture between the Cape Cod Museum of Art and WGBH Channel 2 done in the early 1980s.  It is mostly interviews with Provincetown artists, many of whom are now deceased.




Arnold Geissbuhler - Sculpture Shaped by the Twentieth Century

The Cape Cod Museum of Art is proud to announce the publication of Arnold Geissbuhler - Sculptor Shaped by the Twentieth Century. Written by Al Kochka, CCMoA Geissbuhler Project Director, it is the first book on the life and art of Arnold Geissbuhler who will forever be linked with the CCMA. His and his wife Elisabeth’s gift of 39 pieces of his art to the museum in 1985 formed the core of the museum’s permanent collection.
