The Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard & Nantucket School-to-Careers Art Internship Program is now in its 11th year. Each year, ARTWORKS, and innovative regional public/private partnership, partners junior and senior high school students with successful working artists. For eight weeks students work alongside the artists in their studios producing artwork for their portfolios as well as learning about the various aspects of being a professional artist.
The annual exhibition and reception is held each May at the Cape Cod Museum of Art to showcase the work of the interns. This year's reception will be Thursday, May 15, 2008 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm.
